So i will be trying thisregram @simplynutritiousdeliciousTandoori Chicken, Saag Aloo and Pilaf Rice4 Chicken legsFor the marinade1 tablespoon Greek yogurt2 cloves crushed garlic1 thumb sized piece grated ginger1 tablespoon tandoori spice mix1 teaspoon chilli powderJuice 1/2 lemonSaag Aloo115g spinach200g new potatoes chopped and cooked.2 onions2 cloves crushed garlicThumb sized piece grated gingerTeaspoon mustard seedsTeaspoon turmericTeaspoon cumin seeds1 chopped chilliPilaff rice500g basmati rice100g butter1 large onion, finely chopped2 cinnamon sticks8 cardamom pods, split open3 cloves4-6 thinly pared strips lemon zest1l boiling chicken stock or water hotSeasoningMix the marinade ingredients together and coat the chicken. Leave for 1/2 hour but it can be marinated the day before.Pre heat the oven 200 degrees.RiceFry the onion until soft then add the ginger and garlic. Add the spices and lemon zest. Now add the rice stir and coat the rice in all the flavours. After 3 minutes add the stock, stir once more and bake for 20-25 minutes, leave to rest for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork.Season with salt and pepper and roast the chicken in the oven for 45 mins.Saag AlooSauté the onion until soft, add the garlic, ginger and mustard seeds.
