A mantra has sacred and in-depth meaning for the Buddhist and Hindu religions. Basically, a mantra is a sound or word used in meditation to stop racing thoughts and aid relaxation. Many people also like to use positive words, or inspirational statements as mantras in their daily life (hence, my attempt at writing a mantra)This simple method works especially well to calm disturbing emotions, like anger, sadness, fear and anxiety. It creates a healthy break from unhelpful thoughts and emotions, whilst preventing anxiety and burn out. Give Mantra a go! If you find yourself drifting into a negative mindset, switch the negative thought to a positive statement. And repeat it over and over again until you feel more calm and relaxed.
