Here I am on a day trip to Osaka from Tokyo! There was some contractual stuff I had to take care of in regards to my grandmother's house that is currently being demolished.
Since February last year, my mother, sister and I have been traveling back and forth between Boston and Osaka to ready the house for demolishing.
Along side all this, my grandfather's sister was hospitalized from falling at the beginning of January 2016, then passed away on May 23rd 2016.
My grandmother also had 3 falls and a stroke that left her stuck for 3 days with no food or water, and she too was hospitalized on February the 7th.
All this happened before tax season last year, and my mother and I had to start traveling back and forth from wherever we were, whether it be from Tokyo or Boston.
I was also interning at Bar HIGH FIVE during all this, and although I had planned for a 2.5 month long internship, I had to call it quits at 1.5 months. There was simply too much we had to take care of in Osaka.
I also moved out of my apartment before leaving Boston in February 2016, and put all my stuff in storage, so I've been living out of my suitcase for at least half a year or more.
My mother kindly let me move back in with her, but I still haven't had the opportunity to really reorganize my life since last year.
2016-2017 has been quite an intense ride, and we've got more to come, so I'll have to keep traveling from time to time, and I'll continue share with you all the perks the travels I have the fortune of experiencing!
These are all both stressful yet rewarding experiences.
