Did you know that dieting and eating clean aren't the same thing?
In my experience, dieting is about restriction and guilt. It seldom lasts long because it's too hard. 🙅🏻 When you fall short of the impossible standards, you feel guilty and resentful.
And personally speaking, when I was "dieting" or counting calories, it definitely wasn't coming from a mindset of self love. It stemmed from self loathing.

When I was diagnosed with fructose malabsorption, I had to relearn everything I knew about food and fueling my body.
I learned about eating clean because I had to. And thank goodness. It changed my life!
I eat well because I love myself and want to take care of the one body I get. 💜
I let myself eat treats and I feel no guilt because it's not my normal food choice. There's no punishment, no resentment, no failure. It's a lifelong journey, and one well worth taking.
