I made a sheet pan turkey sausage, sweet potato, bell pepper and chickpeas meal tonight. Got it from @chelseasmessyapron. It was delicious. I of course threw mine over a salad and added in some in raw bell peppers and beets. This meal was packed with so many vitamins and nutrients. High in fiber, vitamin c, vitamin b, antioxidants, regulate blood sugar, cancer fighting properties and hormone balancing. Just to name a few of the benefits from the different foods. #eattotrain @juggernautmentality

Hey babes and happy Saturday! I hope everyone has had a fantastic day so far! I cannot believe it’s already almost noon! 😅 I woke up this morning feeling SO pumped for my full-body training session and couldn’t wait to get out and train. I looked NO different whatsoever (I actually feel leaner) from something not so nutritious last night and enjoyed myself to my fullest. I ate as much of it as I wanted, felt zero guilt and proved to myself that food is NOT the enemy yet again! I ate my rice cake on the way and TOTALLY smashed it out! My butt is absolute lot dead from yesterday... 🍑🔥 I’m trying REALLY hard to focus more on strength over cardio because I am not going to gain a thing if I continue to burn/expend more than I’m taking in. I still have a long way to go, but I’m getting there! 💪🏻 I made my way home and am now ready to refuel after my session! This is a partially-new meal for me, but I’m very excited to see how it is! Just because SNSN was last night does NOT mean I can restrict, overtrain, or compensate calories today. If I do, I’m letting anorexia kill me. NOT going to happen. 🙅🏻 SO, I am having: a smoothie bowl consisting of 1 frozen banana, 1/2 cup grated zuchinni, 1 Tbs. @traderjoeslist creamy PB, 1 cup spinach, 1 cup of almond milk (and some water), 1 serving of @nuzest_usa Lean Vanilla Protein, and ice topped with @purelyelizabeth granola, puffed wheat, sliced strawberries, 1Tbs. chia seeds, coconut chips, and a teeny dusting of cinnamon! 😛💦✨ I’m REALLY hoping this turns out well! It’s basically my same smoothie recipe I have sometimes, just with more of the ingredients and some toppings to make sure I’m getting in all the calories/macros that I’m supposed to be eating! I’m nervous, but I NEED to do this! It’s kind of big, but there’s a lot of ice. 🙌🏻 I’m feeling pretty good right now and am looking forward to the rest of my day! I am HANGRY, so I don’t want to write too much, but I’m off to eat my smoothie bowl, stretch + foam roll (for NO longer than I’m supposed to), and then get ready! Simplicity is what I crave lately. In my food, in my training, in my relationships and in my existence. Sometimes I need to make my world smaller to not feel overwhelmed and to remember what matters the most. My breakfast was SO good. Double meat 🥩 🥓 😂Avocado 🥑 spinach, sweet potato 🍠 and banana 🍌 It satisfied post workout needs, was full of nutrients and doesn’t make me feel like ish. (I also had black coffee with my collagen peptides that I talked about yesterday in my story) It is also super simple. Work is getting busier, training is getting harder 🏋🏻‍♀️ and if I don’t find a way to manage it, my sleep, food and recovery will suffer. I won’t let that happen, ain’t no body got time for that 💁‍♀️ I always fall back into simplicity and wonder why I ever leave it to begin with 💗 Keep it simple this weekend and enjoy your LIFE my people!! ✌️🙌 . . . . . . . #eattotrain

People like to think less is more but whether I was focused on abs, leaning out, maintaining or running distances my plate was just as important as the grind. #eattotrain.

My Saturday run was fab 🏃 The original plan was to smash a lower body session in the gym, but I was so happy to be out in the fresh air! I haven't ran long distances for a while as it's quite taxing on my joints which only means one thing... I have to take an ice bath and foam roll. Pray for me please 🤞

Breakfasting on my patio, pretending I'm on a villa in AZ overlooking the Sedona mountains. ... ... So, I eat a LOT of dairy. It's hidden here in my eggs. I mix in plain Greek yogurt because YUM, and it also adds a bit of extra protein. For people who have autoimmune problems, dairy can be inflammation-inducing. But did you know that you can actually make yourself lactose intolerant? Being "dairy-free" has been right up there with the fad diet trends, like "gluten-free." BUT, the lactase enzyme is a use-it-or-lose-it function. If you cut out dairy for an extended period of time, your body will down-regulate that enzyme, and try to reintroduce dairy back into your diet will lead to intolerance symptoms, even if you aren't actually "allergic" to lactose. For me, I struggle to get enough protein in my diet, and because of the intensity of my workouts, I need adequate building blocks to recover my muscles in between hard workouts. If I didn't eat dairy, I'd be eating a TON of meat, which leaves little room for fresh veggies and fruits (not to mention that gets expensive). I don't have autoimmune problems, and dairy doesn't have a negative effect on my gut. So, I drink milk, add 1/2 & 1/2 to my coffee, eat yogurt, mix it in my eggs, and all the cheese. I say all that to say, yet again... Nutrition is HIGHLY individual. I get it. Dairy causes lots of problems for lots of people. But if you're considering cutting it, make sure you have a legitimate reason, not just that it's part of the latest and greatest diet plan- unless you want to end up lactose intolerant because you've down-regulated all your lactase. If it hasn't bothered you in the past, and you just need to lose weight and get healthy, I wouldn't necessarily cut it entirely. If you struggle with getting enough protein, make sure you get full-fat forms of dairy (including yogurt and milk). That's where the protein comes in. In conclusion: Eat real food. Eat food that you enjoy. Eat what makes you feel good. . . . #eattotrain
