ATENÇÃO!!! Certos alimentos podem levar à ansiedade; outros podem apaziguá-la. Primeiramente deve-se manter os níveis de açúcar estáveis no sangue, com a distribuíção de pequenas refeições ao longo do dia. Carboidratos complexos contêm serotonina, um neurotransmissor que tem efeito calmante no cérebro. Ingira quantidades suficientes de vitaminas do complexo B, aumente a ingestão de levedo de cerveja e hortaliças verde-escuras. Alimentos fibrosos e iogurte com lactobacilos vivos ajudarão a melhorar a flora intestinal, o que será benéfico para a produção de serotonina via intestinal. Cálcio e magnésio acalmam o organismo. Boas fontes são encontradas em: algas marinhas, brócolis, couve, soja, nozes, salmão, sardinha. Alimentos que devem ser evitados: A cafeína e o álcool causam a ansiedade e seus sintomas. Açúcar refinado (doces) e refrigerantes são os principais inimigos das pessoas ansiosas. Eles elevam os níveis de açúcar sanguíneo rapidamente, o que leva à irritabilidade, depressão e tensão. A ansiedade pode ser resultado de toxinas acumuladas no corpo e estresse. Nestas situações, recomenda-se dieta desintoxificante (alimentos in natura, eliminar leite, carne vermelha, café, chá preto, álcool, aumentar o consumo de frutas e hortaliças). And, were a genie to grant me but one wish I would, first, wish for infinite wishes (obvi) and second wish for peanut butter to have 0-calories. - 🍕Alas, no such genie has arrived (yet) and peanut butter still has a metric eff ton of calories for not so much protein. - 🏓Does this mean PB is bad and evil and you shouldn't eat it for the rest of your life? Merlins Beard, no! What it does mean is you should be aware PB is not a good source of protein (regardless of what food marketers tell you) and it does have a cauldron full of calories that are very easy to overdo. - 🌽That's it. Just be aware of how many calories you're taking in. Tweaked my left shoulder in my last hockey game which has had a negative effect on my training. Only able to do leg work, some lower back work, curls, and specific types of tricep movements. It's frustrating especially after being fully recovered from my back strain and I felt very good recently on this training block. I wanted to squat but didn't want to risk my shoulder with a low bar position so substituted it with the safety squat bar. I've only used this bar a handful of times and I can remember why because it's torture. Since the bar pulls you down and forward it forces that upright back position and annihilate your core💀 3x10 @ 275lbs... just trying to get some work in. Yes it's a setback but I know I'll bounce back. Going to give it time to heal and slowly add more stimulus to it. A lot more work to be done🔑 ------------------------------------
