The solidarity between #rohingyaMuslims and #Turks dates back to WWI.
According to a recently released document from the Ottoman Archives, records state that Rohingya Muslims provided material and emotional support to the Ottoman government through the Turkish Relief Fund in the amount of £1,391 being sent to the Ottomans in the year 1913 for the relief of the Turkish/Ottoman wounded and their families of the Balkan Wars, which took place between 1912 and 1913.
