Success for you will not be the same as success for me. Success is always uniquely personal. And it has to be.
We are all completely unique individuals with unique talents, abilities, interests, circumstances, relationships, and opportunities.
We each have to find our own measures of success and find peace with that. We mustn’t allow the pressures of those around us, or society at large, force upon us measures of success that don’t fit with who we are.
Be inspired by the success of others. Listen to the input of loved ones who know us well.
But know that you must always reject any measure of success being imposed on you that doesn’t match with who you are, what you want to do, and how you want to do it.
But ultimately, no matter what, you have to make sure that you own your measures of success.
You have to reach a place where you like yourself, you like what you do, and you like how you do it. And if you’re not in that place, you need to make some changes.
Start liking yourself and your success and put a step on your failures.
