There are still some quarter squatters so just like home  Today's the first day working out at a new gym.  Feels super weird.  Ran through some SQ volume work.  Doing some RDLs then more booty work.  Gosh is so strange!

Biceps3 muscles = biceps brachii (long & short head), brachialis (deeper under biceps brachii and considered a contributor to bicep thickness) and the brachioradialis (a big muscle of the forearm still responsible for elbow flexion (also forearm rotation)

ExercisesStudies show greater bicep recruitment as loads increase (Lagally et. al., 2002) meaning that ideally 1 of your “isolations” will be a HEAVY supinated (palms up) curl of choice in lower rep ranges (6-8). Then, as the hammer grip (palms neutral) has been shown to still elicits high amounts of biceps brachii I also advise you include 1 exercise with said grip (usually either a db or rope) as it will allow you to also bring in some more brachialis and brachioradialis… 3 birds, one stone (Boeckh-Behrens & Buskies., 2000). Finally, the concentration curl which has actually shown (Young et.al., 2014) to target the biceps the MOST (usually due to the less anterior delt recruitment), done last with higer rep ranges because weight required will be less thus less taxing than your heavier work which I advise you do first.

Triceps3 heads = medial, lateral and long head. All 3 are strong extensors of the elbow with the long head aiding in shoulder extension & adduction.

ExercisesThe close grip bench has been shown to elicit high activation in all 3 heads of the triceps (Saeterbakken et al., 2017, Lehman et al., 2005). Since the triceps are slightly fast twitch dominant (Srinivasan et al., 2007, Johnson et al., 1973), training with higher speeds and heavier loads may be beneficial and the close grip bench is perfect for this as it can be loaded heavily in the 4-6 rep ranges. Next is overhead extensions, which has you in shoulder flexion and EMG data has shown this to be one of the best exercises to activate the long head of the triceps (Boeckh-Behrens & Buskies. 2000). Lastly, a pushdown movement. Regardless of whether they’re done with a rope or bar, they effectively hit the lateral head of the triceps. List pr0vieh's Instagram Am Wochenende wurde genügend Schlaf und Erholung nachgeholt, was bekanntlich schon mal die halbe Miete ist.
Zudem auch richtig überragende Gym Sessions hingelegt, die Einheiten am Ende der Woche sind mir wirklich die liebsten. 
Um das ganze noch abzurunden, gönne ich mir jetzt noch einen Abend mit meinen B&J und Netflix.

Pain that is mental because we’ve never pushed our bodies to their limits and then there is the pain where on the other side is success. Pain that we choose to push through to become successful, to become the best versions of ourselves, to learn that our mind doesn’t set the limits on what we can accomplish. •

We have to get our mindset right to become successful even after each failure. •

All of these failures are a reminder of where I have come from. The growth that I have made physically and mentally. These videos remind me that for every successful moment I have, I have had 100s of failures. •
