This didn’t happen over night this come from years of training, and hard work. It never just a 12 week programme it requires you to continually work on yourself. Over the years I’ve trail and tested many diet/training approaches I look back now and laugh at the things I’ve done thought that’s all part of the journey.

I’m always learning about myself and looking to further my knowledge in my field.

You have to know what works best for you there is no quick fix it’s a journey it will take time and effort but it’s worth it. Find out what you enjoy and make it fit your lifestyle and trust the process. You are a project work on YOU.

Right ,So what do I do now?
First you stop talking about doing and start doing.
Set yourself some goals
Clean up your diet , start eating like an adult.
Commit to training every week
Plan a sleep routine
Drink plenty of water •

I used to be the most typical IIFYM type person, where if at the end of the day I had some carbs to spare, I would always pick Nutella or Halo Top over potatoes or fruits or any wholesome foods.

Not saying that's wrong, it's just not what I currently agree with. It worked great for me all last year, but this year's different.

I still eat the occasional pizza/burger/cake/brownie/margarita  but 90-95% of my food is wholesome, nutritious and easy for my body to digest/utilize.

This new approach/lifestyle has benefited me and my body in amazing ways I didn't think were possible 1612422358824365897_3195347691

Day 8 after back surgery and the annoyance at not being able to go training or do a simple task like pick the kids to play, is getting to me.

The walls are closing in at home and I can’t pick what I want to do with my time from the 50 different books, podcasts and tv shows I have staring at me.

I’m doing everyone’s head in moaning I’m not 100% yet; even the 2 year old is rolling her eyes now when I ask her can she notice a difference in muscle tone between legs.

I am not a good patient.

Then i realised; I am still injured, I need to rest, I need to recoup, I need to work on strength and I need to go back to not just my basic physio rehab exercises but to what I would expect from a client that had come to me, and to try get my head around making a fresh start on the recovery road.

So it’s Day 1 again.
