Owner FMS Go Bags, Ryan Betancur BIO:
Hi, I'm Ryan. I design, test and assemble your FMS Go Bags and Modular kits.
Having grown up in the mountains, served in the US Army, worked for FEMA and Public Health Emergency Preparedness and studied Homeland Security and Emergency Management at the post-graduate level, I have experience in the concepts, principles and practices that sit at the heart of emergency preparedness and its practical application. I am also certified in Basic and Advanced Disaster Life Support, CPR, Crisis Risk Communications and Level II Hospital Emergency Coordination.
I have put years of hard work and analysis into designing these bags, testing the equipment, and finding what really works when you need it to and what doesn’t.
I want you to be confident in our intelligent approach to emergency preparedness and the solutions we offer so that you can be ready to help and ready to lead when it counts.
In addition to FMS Go Bags, my wife and I also teach Basic and Advanced Emergency Preparedness Planning Courses for the public, Awareness-level Trauma/Uncontrolled Bleeding courses to support our FMS Go Bags Gunshot Wound/Trauma Kits, and Personal Safety Kit. We also consult individuals, families, businesses, schools and faith-based organizations in emergency preparedness planning through our service company Safe Place Consulting LLC.
